WELLBEING PRACTICES

We are pleased to welcome you to the Inn at the Commons. The health and safety of our guests and team will always come first. Consistent use of face coverings, attention to social distancing, and regular hand washing constitute the most effective measures to keep our guests, team members and this community safe and slow the spread of coronavirus. 

Please review some new practices and experiences you can anticipate when you come to stay at Inn at the Commons.

Following the guidelines of the Oregon Health Authority:

  • Face coverings are required in indoor public spaces at all times. Persons under the age of 5 and persons who require an accommodation or are exempt under federal/ state law are also exempt.
  • Our property is sanitized and maintained with daily cleaning to ensure our guests are safe and comfortable. For your safety, please review some additional “wellbeing” practices of our hotel below.

PROPERTY-WIDE

  • Hand sanitizer stations are available at the front desk and restrooms.
  • Face masks are required for all team members.
  • Employee workstations are cleaned and disinfected after every shift.
  • Employees are empowered to stay home if unwell.
  • Requirement for all employees to wash hands more frequently.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES

  • Main hotel door is an ADA commercial door that opens by the push of a button.
  • Arrivals are conveniently staggered so each guest can safely social distance during their expedited check-in.
  • Plexiglass partitions have been installed at the front desk for added protection.
  • Room keys are sanitized using CDC-approved disinfectant.
  • Guests receive a final bill via email prior to departure, allowing them to skip the Front Desk checkout process.

HOUSEKEEPING

  • Rooms are thoroughly cleaned prior to guest arrival with CDC-approved disinfectants and electrostatic sprayer technology.
  • Linens and towels continue to be washed and refreshed in accordance with CDC guidelines.
  • Laundry and linens are bagged in guestroom to eliminate excess contact in transit.
  • Unnecessary items are removed from guest rooms, such as bed scarves, paper notepads and pens.
  • The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees is our top priority. With that in mind we are limiting our guests and housekeeping interactions by servicing guest rooms after your 2nd night. If you have any special requests prior to your service, please contact the Front Desk. If you do not wish service beyond the 2nd night, please use the do not disturb door sign.

TEMPORARY BREAKFAST OFFERINGS

  • While recognizing the importance of a quality breakfast, offerings have been adapted to prioritize the health and safety of guests:
    • A complimentary selection of pre-packaged breakfast items is available to our guests.
    • Breakfast and coffee is served by the breakfast attendant wearing gloves and protective face mask.  There is no self-service available.
    • Travel path markers are visible on the floor for appropriate social distancing.
    • Condiments are available individually packaged.
    • Silverware is rolled in paper napkins.

POOL

  • Our outdoor seasonal pool is open. We are monitoring the count of people enjoying the facility. Guests that are not in the same party please keep a social distance of 6 feet from other guests. Pool area is sanitized multiple times a day.
